Milla Jovovich silenced rabid Mad Online Bros today when she shared a her MONSTER HUNTER costume via Instagram. This move comes a few days after angry internet trolls took to their keyboards to express their grave displeasure over the first look at Diego Boneta’s character in Paul W.S. Anderson’s upcoming Capcom adapation. Jovovich posted her photo with the caption “Captain Natalie Artemis. Ranger. Monster Hunter. Just a little peek for all the [MONSTER HUNTER] fans out there who were worried the other day”.
MONSTER HUNTER is an RPG video game that originated on the PS2. The project will reunite RESIDENT EVIL director Anderson with his star and real life wife Jovovich, who together helmed the most successful video game based franchise of all time. Here’s hoping they can bring some of that fairy dust magic to their latest crack at a cinematic fantasty realm.
An idea that’s been floating around in Anderson’s brain since around 2012, the director and his producing partner Jeremy Bolt officially started shopping around the original script and VFX renderings in 2016. Now, with the RESIDENT EVIL franchise finally completed, Anderson and Jovovich have a chance to explore a whole new world of fresh monsters.
