This article contains MAJOR SPOILERS for AVENGERS: ENDGAME. Read on at your own peril!

After lifting the spoiler ban on AVENGERS: ENDGAME this morning, Marvel and Sony debuted a brand-new trailer for SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME. Included in the trailer is a look at Peter Parker’s world without the guidance of his mentor, Tony Stark, who sacrificed himself to undo the damage caused by the Mad Titan, Thanos, in Marvel’s latest box office-breaking epic. The trailer also suggests that we’re heading into a bold new era of Marvel filmmaking where the studio’s multiverse becomes a key element of the events to come. This is indeed a very exciting development for the MCU, as it allows for all manner of timey-wimey storylines, characters, and shenanigans to enter the cinematic canon. I have a feeling that things are about to get quite strange (and maybe a little confusing) when Marvel announces their Phase 4 plans, and I am all about it.
