There’s something about Charles Dickens‘ “A Christmas Carol” which keeps people coming back as the story is one of the most-adapted of all-time, and BBC/FX will soon be presenting us with yet another retelling of the classic tale in a three-part miniseries from Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight.

A Christmas Carol stars Guy Pearce (BLOODSHOT) as Ebenezer Scrooge, a bitter old man who despises Christmas, until, on the night of Christmas Eve, he’s visited by three ghosts who show him his past, present, and future. The miniseries also stars Andy Serkis (THE BATMAN) as the Ghost of Christmas Past, Stephen Graham (THE IRISHMAN) as Jacob Marley, Charlotte Riley (Peaky Blinders) as Lottie/Ghost of Christmas Present, Joe Alwyn (THE FAVOURITE) as Bob Bratchit, Vinette Robinson (Sherlock) as Mary Cratchit, and Jason Flemyng (The Missing) as the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come.

The Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) series is slated to air on FX in the United States on December 19th, and on BBC One in the United Kingdom from December 22-24th.
