By the power of Grayskull! Word has arrived from Eternia that the full voice cast for Netflix’s MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVELATION has been revealed, and by Gwildor’s beard is this show ever packed with all-stars!

Set to lend their iconic voices to MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVELATION are Jedi Master Mark Hamill, GAME OF THRONES alumna Lena Headey, LEGACIES actor Chris Wood, and BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER legend, Sarah Michelle Gellar! Known throughout the animation stratosphere as DC’s Jester of Genocide himself, Joker, Hamill will voice the villain Skeletor. Meanwhile, Headey will assume the role of Evil-Lyn, while Wood will raise his Power Sword as He-Man/Prince Adam. Additionally, Gellar will lend her vocals to the character Teela.

But wait, that’s not all! Alan Oppenheimer, who voiced Skeletor on the original ’80s cartoon He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, will make his return to the He-Verse as the voice of Moss Man. Oh, and did I happen to mention that Kevin Conroy, known famously for voicing the Dark Knight opposite Hamill’s Joker for Batman: The Animated Series, will act as the voice of Mer-Man? It’s true!

Rounding out the rest of the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVELATION cast are Liam Cunningham (GAME OF THRONES) as Man-At-Arms, Stephen Root (OFFICE SPACE, O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU?) as Cringer, Diedrich Bader (NAPOLEON DYNAMITE) as King Randor/Trap Jaw, Griffin Newman (THE TICK) as Orko, Tiffany Smith (SUPERNATURAL) as Andra, Henry Rollins (FEAST, LOST HIGHWAY) as Tri-Klops, Susan Eiseberg (JUSTICE LEAGUE animted series) as Sorceress, Alicia Silverstone (CLUELESS, BATMAN & ROBIN) as Queen Marlena, Justin Long (GALAXY QUEST, LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD), as Roboto, Smith’s hetero-lifemate Jason Mewes (JAY AND SILENT BOB REBOOT) as Stinkor, Phil LaMarr ( PULP FICTION) as He-Ro, Tony Todd (CANDYMAN) as Scare Glow, Cree Summer (DC SUPER HERO GIRLS) as Priestess, Kevin Michael Richardson (THUNDERCATS) as Beast Man, and Smith’s own daughter, Harely Quinn Smith as Ileena.

While plot details for MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVELATION remain scarce at this time, we do know that elements of the show will expand upon the unresolved storylines of characters left over from the original cartoon. Kevin Smith will serve as both showrunner and executive producer of the show, which will feature episodes written by Marc Bernardin, Eric Carrasco, Diya Mishra, and Tim Sheridan.

“I cannot believe the lineup of talent I get to play with!” Smith recently told Entertainment Weekly. “The incredible, star-studded cast that Mattel’s Rob David and Netflix’s Ted Biaselli assembled for our Masters of the Universe series will let any lifelong He-Man fan know we’re treating this cartoon seriously and honoring the legendary world of Eternia with A-list talent! Chris, Sarah, Mark, Lena, and the other amazing actors and actresses have given performances so powerful and real in a show that features a talking giant green tiger! With these fantastic performers behind our characters, it’ll be crazy easy to immerse yourself in the swords and sorcery of our epic sci-fi soap opera!”

In addition to Smith’s He-Man show, another Masters of the Universe series is also on the way from Adam Bonnet, Christopher Keenan, and Rob David. The aforementioned trio will act as executive producers on Smith’s version, with Susan Collins producing.

On the live-action front, To All the Boys actor Noah Centineo is expected to star as He-Man/Prince Adam for a feature-length He-Man adventure, though that project has yet to land a home. It could be that Netflix will opt to purchase that Masters of the Universe project as well, making the streaming Network the new home of all things Eternia. We’ll be sure to update you about both projects as new information comes to light.
